DESCRIPTION:  A traditional, classic Jacobean style that has never gone out of style.  Floral designs associated with Tree of Life motifs and flowing acanthus leaves make up this design that dates back to the 17th-century.  The color registration shows shades of blue, beige, grey, and light yellow on a cream colored background.

*Railroaded fabric, or RR fabric, is a fabric with a pattern that runs horizontally across the width of the fabric, perpendicular to the selvage.   Non-railroaded fabric, or "Up the Roll", runs vertical to the selvage and is commonly used for draperies. 

In most cases, railroaded fabric is often used for upholstery because it allows cushions to be made in one continuous piece.  All railroaded fabric can easily be used for drapery or other projects needing parallel or "Up the Roll" fabric.
